There are a few ways to write a poem called a cinquain. For this assignment, your topic is to write a cinquain about something you are thankful for. Your pattern will be:
Line #1: A noun
Line #2: Two adjectives
Line #3: Three -ing words
Line #4: A four-word phrase or sentence.
Line #5: A related noun or adjective
Here are examples:
Spaghetti
Messy, spicy
Slurping, sliding, falling
Between plate and mouth
Delicious
