paradigm shift a change in perception or to change how you view something

The movie, Coach Carter, is about a principal's struggle to create a paradigm shift. He wants the students and the teachers to stop thinking of the team as a group of hoodlums and losers and instead recognize the intellectual strengths and potential in each teenage individual.

Write about a time you experienced a paradigm shift. Prhaps you saw yourself or someone else in a different light, or perceived a situation in a different way. Describe the events that made you change your point of view, and a lesson that you learned.

We will read paradigms in class on Friday, 1/30. This means you need to post your work by 8:00 p.m. Thursday. Don't forget to save your work before logging out.
